John 12: 26 "If anyone would serve Me, let him follow Me. Where I am there will My servant be. If anyone serves Me, him will the Father honor." Thank You, Jesus, for this day, for this life You gave me. Help me to serve You, Lord, in all I do; please keep me focused on You. It is God's will that we live that we live joy filled. productive, prosperous lives. God alone can make sure this happens for us. We need only seek Him out first, then all else will follow. I pray to You, dear Jesus, and thank You for Your promises. In Your Name I ask, dear Jesus. Amen John 14: 12-14 "I solemnly assure you, the one who has faith in Me will do the works I do and greater far than these. Why? Because I go to the Father and whatever you ask in My name, I will do, so as to glorify the Father in the Son. Anything you ask in My name, I will do." Dear Jesus, my heart overflows with love and gladness, for I know Your love for me. Put the words into my mouth, so I may share with the world all Your glory. In Your name Jesus, I ask. Amen

Never want for worldly ways, they only bring despair and separation from God. Stay with God, choose His ways and you will find peace and joy. God will prosper you according to His promises. Proverbs 15:3 "The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good." Praise You, Jesus.

I am completely overwhelmed at the majesty of our Lord. (As my daughter once said, she is in "awe" at how great our God is.) I have to Praise God in all aspects of my life, but especially right now, as I realize His great and mighty works in my life. I am an Author. God has made me an Author. All my life I have said that I have always wanted to write books, but many people say things like that. God has allowed me to do it. I give all glory to God, He has been with me and I know will continue to be with me every step of the way. I am a perfect witness to the fact that "with God, all things are possible." If you know me and know where I have come from, you would definitely know that God's mighty Hand was in this all the way. I cannot praise God enough; my heart is over flowing with joy. My book Spirit Moves is now available in paperback(as well as Kindle ebooks.) My second book in the series, "Forgiveness, Healing, and Love is available on Kindle ebooks and will also, soon, be available in paperback. The third book in my series is called "Straight From the Heart, Learning to Trust" and should be available over the next month or so. All my books will be on Amazon .com under Marie Therese. When I started this blog a couple years ago, I felt I was answering a calling from God, but I had no idea where God was taking me; I only surrendered to His will and watched Him work in my life. Oh no, it was not always easy for me, as you will find out in reading my books. God had an enormous amount of work to do on me, work that is still ongoing and I suspect will be ongoing for the remainder of my life. But isn't that what life is all about? What a magnificent journey, when you journey with God. Well again, I want to give all praise and glory to our wonderful God, as this is what this blog space is all about, and truly what life is all about. Praise the Lord!

Stay close to the Lord; stay within His light. You are protected from all harm within God's tender care. Know that He is with you there. The Lord wants you to love and serve all, but to do it within the confines of His heart, not on your own. Watch and he will guide you. Know the Lord is near to all who look for Him. He is with you. Trust in God, trust that God's will be done. God, Your will be done. Psalm 3: 5-6 "When I call out to the Lord He answers me from His holy mountain. When I lie down in sleep, I wake again, for the Lord sustains me." Praise You Jesus

Thank You Lord. Thank You for always being with me. Lord, help me to serve You, to further Your Kingdom on earth, as this is what it is all about. All else is just existence. I am lost without You, Lord. You alone are worthy of my time. my thoughts, all I do. Teach me Your ways, Lord. Psalm 37: 4 "Take delight in the Lord and He will grant your hearts request." You know my heart, Lord; You know my needs. Proverbs 13:6 "Virtue guards one who walks honestly, but the downfall of the wicked is sin." PTL

Lord, forgive my wrongs, lead me daily on my path with You. Though I stumble. help me to continue to faithfully follow You. Do not allow my faith and trust in You to falter, even in the toughest times, as I know in my heart You will not abandon me. I thank You, Lord; I praise You. Luke 11:31, 32 "Seek out instead His kingship over you and the rest will follow. Do not live in fear." PTL

Thank You for all my blessings, Lord. Keep me always close to You. Help me to stay on my path and allow me to serve You, Lord. Thank You for my time with You. Haggai 1: 5,7,13 "Thus says the Lord, consider your ways" "Consider your ways." "And the Lord's messenger, Haggai, proclaimed to the people as the message of the Lord; "I am with you, says the Lord." Humbly desire wisdom and understanding, as God gives these gifts to us for all we need to know to serve Him. All glory to God! Proverbs 9:10 "The beginning of Wisdom is the fear of the Lord and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding." PTL

Many times I wonder if I am following the right path, if I am doing God's will. Sometimes it is hard to see the big picture of God's plan when we are in the midst of our journey. Doing God's will is sometimes as simple as just listening for His voice amid the voice of the world, to accomplish what He wants you to do. To see and listen to God is the first step. Proverbs: 8: 33-34, 35 "So now My children, listen to Me; instruction and Wisdom do not reject! Happy the one who obeys Me and happy those who keep My ways." "For the one who finds Me, finds life and wins favor from the Lord." PTL

Haggai 1:5 "And My Spirit continues in your midst; do not fear." Lord, You are so good in all You do. I give You all praise and glory. You are really here, Lord, here with me in each moment. When I keep my heart and soul on You and diminish myself, I can see You so clearly, Lord. The Spirit is so much more alive then the flesh. we are only alive through Your Spirit within us. If we stifle Your Spirit by not looking to You, Lord, by going our own way, we might as well be dead flesh, moving without seeing or feeling what really is. By staying in communion within our Spirit and God, we can be free. PTL

Zephaniah 1: 7 "Silence in the presence of the Lord God." In peace you will find Me and in Love. In stillness I abide, you only have to listen. In the dark, there is no more fear, the light breaks through, I am here. I am here always to comfort you. Do not allow little concerns(which all are to Me), to block your vision of Me. Push all aside to be in My arms. I want to hold you, to heal you. I shall only need to speak and the sea and the wind shall calm. Allow Me to live and reign in your heart. Proverbs 7: 1-2 "My child, keep My words and treasure my commands; keep My commands and live." PTL

Hebrews 10: 36 "You need patience to do God's will and receive what He has promised." Amen to this. This speaks directly to my heart. I don't know about you, but I seem to want things, or think that something should happen in a specified time, (usually my time). Sometimes, (probably most of the time), though, these things I am wanting to happen don't just concern "me". There are a lot of other factors in things that are happening in our lives, not only concerning us, but those who are in our lives or moving through our lives. All these pieces fit together according to God's perfect plan. I suppose, if we try to do something our own way(according to what we think we want), or we try to control a situation (or think we have control of it), it may seem to move along more quickly, but in most cases, if we are not focusing on God and His plan, these things don't usually work out, (as we may be considering just "me"). Then again, it may work out for "me", but what about all the rest, all the others involved? Only through God's will can things work out perfectly, because God's plan is the perfect plan. It is for the good of all. Who else could ever accomplish such a task? PTL

Nahum 1:12 " Though I have humbled you, I will humble you no more." Now I will break his yoke from you, and burst asunder your bonds." In Your Name, Jesus, I ask. Amen

Our God is an amazing God. All it takes is desire and time on our part to get to know Him. God wants, so much, to be a part of of our lives, the main part of our life. He waits patiently for us to realize this and how much we need Him. He waits patiently to bestow on us all His beautiful gifts, if only we open our hearts to accept them. Glory to You, Lord. Jeremiah 15: 16 "When I found Your words, Lord, I devoured them; they became my joy and the happiness of my heart." PTL

Lord, let no complaint pass my lips. for I know how very blessed I am in all things. But mostly for Your love and mercy and goodness in my life, Lord. Without You, there is no life. Through You, Lord, I have everlasting life and here and now I have Your peace and joy, Your love, all good things. I give You unending praise and glory, Lord, with all my heart and soul. Proverbs 1:33 "He who obeys Me dwells in security, in peace, without fear of harm" Proverbs 3: 1-2 "My child, forget not my teaching, keep in mind My commands; for many days and years of life and peace will they bring you." Thank You Lord.

I was at my grandson's swim lesson last night and I saw an amazing analogy regarding trust. Elijah does not know how to swim yet, but he wants to learn. As he and the teacher get into the pool, the teacher gives him instructions on what he is to do and shows him how to do it; holding his breath, the different kicks and strokes, the things he needs to do to stay afloat. He is a bit afraid as he looks at the distance across the pool to where she is to help him swim. The teacher says to him, "focus, focus on me. Trust me, I will not let you go. Don't be afraid." Those words sounded very familiar to me. It seems those are the very words God speaks to us as we walk with Him through life. He asks us to keep our focus on Him, to trust in Him and have faith in Him and do not be afraid. Each day with God, is a new, fresh day, a wonderful opportunity to trust and believe in God as we step out in service to Him; to bring His light and love to all whom we meet. All we need do is "Focus, focus on God, trust in Him" and all will be ok. Mark 5:36 "Fear is useless. what is needed is trust." Mark 9: 23 "Everything is possible to one who trusts." PTL

Thank You, Jesus, for loving me so much. I look for Your guidance each day so that I might serve You according to Your will for me. Micah 4:3 "Come, let us climb the mount of the Lord to the house of Jacob, that he may instruct us in His ways, that we may walk in His paths." PTL

The way to the Father is through the Son. Jesus is the Way the Truth and the Life. In Jesus is everlasting life. Jesus died on the cross so we could live with Him eternally. When I call out to Jesus for mercy and forgiveness, His compassion for me is never-ending. Jesus is my Lord and Savior, He will never abandon me. In Him I trust. Micah 7:7 "But as for me, I will look to the Lord, I will put my trust in God my Savior, my God will hear me." PTL

Lord, as I follow You, I am awed at the beauty of Your ways; how everything falls neatly into place, no matter what I might have done to mess it up. Always allow me to listen for Your voice, to heed Your call, so my path may be straight. Thank You for always guiding me, Lord. Micah 2:7 "Do not My words promise good to all who walk uprightly?" Micah 4:5 "We will walk in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever." PTL

Psalm 37:5-7 "Commit to the Lord your way, trust in Him and He will act. He will make justice dawn for you like the light, bright as noon day will be your vindication. Leave it to the Lord and wait for Him." Lord, I surrender all my needs and cares to You. I offer all I am to You and trust that You will take care of me. Even though I am faced with doubts and unbelief form others, help me to remain strong in my faith and follow You. I know You are with me, Lord. Praise You Jesus.

Lord, I pray for all who are in sorrow and hurting. Fill them with Your peace and Your love. Let them feel Your presence so they know You are with them; they are not alone. In Your Name I ask, dear Jesus. Amen Psalm 147: 3 "He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds." I surrender to Your will, my Lord. Lead me on my path with You. I offer all I do for You, dear Lord. Help me to do and say only that which encourages others and leads them to You so they may know Your love also, and follow You. In Your Name I ask, Jesus. Amen Obadiah:13 "As you have done, so shall it be done to you; your deed shall come back upon your head." PTL

Lord, I praise You for all my blessings. I thank You for allowing my book Spirit Moves to be approved for print. Help me to complete the necessary steps to accomplish Your will, Lord. I can do nothing without You, but through You, Lord, all things are possible. Help me to be a good witness to You, Lord, in all I do. PTL Proverbs 16: 2-3 "All the ways of a man may be pure in his own eyes, but it ia the Lord who proves the Spirit. Entrust your works to the Lord and all your plans will succeed."

Jesus, I want to understand Your ways. Help me to know Your will. Help me to serve You in all I do, Lord. Help me to focus on You always, Lord, in this way I know I will be following You. Amos 5: 4, 6 "For thus, says the Lord, seek Me that you may live." "Seek the Lord that you may live." Romans 12:2 "Do not conform yourselves to this age, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind so that you may judge what is God's will, what is good, pleasing, and perfect." God's word holds direction for our lives; comfort in our daily struggles and temptations. Staying in God's word, learning all He has to teach us, and then following His direction holds the knowledge of our loving God; the way in which He intends for us to live. Doing this will bring peace, harmony,and joy to your life, as well as the lives of all around you. Love God, respect yourself; respect others. Romans 14: 17-18, 22 "The kingdom of God is not a matter of (eating and drinking), but of justice, peace, and the joy that is given by the Holy Spirit. Whatever serves Christ in this way pleases God." "Use the faith you have as your rule of life in the sight of God. Happy the one whose conscience does not condemn what he has chosen to do." PTL

Trust in the Lord; believe. He can and will come through for you. His love and mercy endures forever. God's love for us is great, greater than any we've ever known. Thank You, Lord, for loving me so much, even though I am not worthy. In this flesh-form we are far from perfect, but that is not what God sees. He sees our heart and soul and that is what He is working on within us; to be made one with Him in everlasting life. All lives have a purpose and we are all one in God, through our Lord, Jesus Christ. I praise you always, my Lord. Psalm 145: 1-2, 8, 13-14, 18 "I will extol You, oh my God and my King and I will bless Your Name forever. Every day will I bless You and I will praise Your name forever and ever!" "The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness." "The Lord is faithful in all His words and Holy in all His works. The Lord lifts up all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down." "The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, all who call upon Him in truth." PTL

As we head into the new year of 2011, let us always remember how much God loves us. Let us remember that in serving God we ultimately help to complete God's plan for, not only our own life, but for all of God's creation. God is always with us and His promises to us are many, if we follow in His ways. Psalm 144: 2-4, 11, 15 "God is our refuge, our fortress, our stronghold, our deliverer, our shield in whom we trust. Lord, what is man that You notice him? Man is like a breath, his days, like a passing shadow." "Deliver me, oh Lord, rescue me." "Happy the people whose God is the Lord." Thank You, Jesus
