How do we know it is God's will? Often times as we journey with God, we may wonder if the choices we are making are according to God's plan for us. How do we really know? Well, if we are praying and reading God's word, we get the basic structure of what is right and wrong, but as for our "personal" purpose that God has for each of us, that is where the trust and faith in God comes in. God will put opportunities before us and then it is up to us to step out in faith and trust Him to lead us. I think sometimes God may ask you do do something to see how willing you are to surrender your will to His. If it turns out to not be the right thing, God will fix it to make it right according to His purpose for you. It may be the lessons in trust and faith that God is interested in seeing in you. That you are willing to lay aside all your wants and desires to follow Him. God will never abandon you as you step out into service for Him. God has given each of us special gifts to serve Him to make the world go around. It is our choice whether or not to follow Him. But if you use the gifts God has given you to serve Him, He will prosper the works of your hands. PTL John 5: 30 "Because I am not seeking my own will, but the will of Him who sent Me." Ecclesiastes 7: 13 "Consider the work of God. Who can make straight what He has made crooked? On a good day enjoy good things and on an evil day consider: Both the one and the other God has made, so that man cannot find fault with Him in anything."
