Why is it said that we "spend" our time? Is time something that we have purchased? Time is given to each of us as a gift from God; some of us have more, some less. I guess it is what we do with the time we are given that is important. Are we grateful for the time we have or are we always wishing for more? Are we wise stewards of our time, using it in service to God and helping others, or do we selfishly horde it to ourselves? All of these are questions that go through my mind as I live each day. Am I making the world a better place, adding to it, or am I just taking from it and using it? Ask God to help you to be a wise steward of the time He gives you. In that way you can be assured you are accomplishing all God wants you to. Then you will be filled with peace and joy as you show God that you are grateful for His gift of time to you. God will bless you by taking the things you do with your time and multiplying them all many times over. It will seem you have an abundance of time instead of always wanting more.
