Dear Jesus, I love You.
I need you; please hear my prayer.
Be with me always, in Your tender care.
With You I won't be lonely,
I won't want for anything.
I always want you with me,
so now my heart will sing.

Jesus, I'm so sorry,
when I turn away.
Thinking that the things I do
might just be the way,
that You would have me live my life,
but I know it's true.
Only if I look to You,
will I know what to do.

I hold to all Your promises;
You won't abandon me.
Only lessons will I learn
that You want me to see.
Growing closer to You,
each and every day.
