My grandson is in kindergarten, and he wanted to take his favorite new Christmas toy to school today; the pull string Jessie from the movie Toy Story. He has been playing with the doll(along with Woody and Buzz) nonstop since Christmas. We had to write his name on one of Jessie's boots as Andy did on Woody's boot in the movie. (Yesterday, he wore his Mom's floppy brown hat to school, because he thought he looked like Jessie and when he walked into the classroom, he took the hat off and said "yeeha, just like Jessie does!"). Well today when we walked into the classroom, his little girlfriend came up to him and gave him a great big hug, as usual, and then they began looking at his Jessie doll and playing with her. The little girl noticed his name on the bottom of one of Jessie's boots and immediately asked, "Can you put my name on the other boot, Elijah?" He shyly looked at her and said "Yes". Now here is pure, innocent, and unpretentious love; the sweet kind that is alive in childhood. I think it would be great to still remember how to love like that as adults. When I told my daughter the story of her sweet little boy, her comment was " What an example for adults to follow in relationships! You each wear a boot, so all is sharing and equal!" Love and wisdom are brought to us in many different ways throughout our lives. All you have to do is realize it.

The Lord blesses all we do, when we ask Him to.
He will bring others to you, for your light to shine;
to show them all of God's glory, through your faith in Him.
Continue to walk with Jesus, in good times and in times of trial,
in this way you will bring glory to His Name,
and you will be filled with the peace and joy
of living within God's promise that He will
always be with us.
He will bring others to you, for your light to shine;
to show them all of God's glory, through your faith in Him.
Continue to walk with Jesus, in good times and in times of trial,
in this way you will bring glory to His Name,
and you will be filled with the peace and joy
of living within God's promise that He will
always be with us.

Thank You, my Lord, for all my blessings. I am so blessed that you allow me to create...words...music...inspired by You, Lord. When I write, I think of You, when I sing, I sing for You; all for Your glory Lord. You fill me with Your grace, You light my way so that I can do all that You ant me to do. You fulfill Your purpose in me. I praise you Lord.

Trials are a necessary part of life to learn to trust in God. In turning to God for everything, you begin to humbly see that the human beings that we are, need God in our lives. As you come to this realization, God will allow you to see His miraculous power unveiled in your life; but only as you completely surrender to Him. The more of yourself you surrender, the more of God's power is able to come through you. It will no longer be "you", but God completing your purpose, the plan He has for you. The more trust and faith you put in God, in all things, the easier it becomes to walk daily with Him. Jesus, who walked this earth as God's true and only begotten Son, already knew this, and was able to perform miracles all the way through until the biggest miracle in which He completely surrendered to God's will of His death on the cross and resurrection from the dead. All glory to Jesus who has saved us all! Trust in Him, follow the way that he lived on earth and see all that God does through you. PTL
