If you truly have faith in God...can there be loneliness?  I know we are
suppose to have relationships, but to what extent do we need them?
I guess it is a normal human condition to need each other..Yet we are
suppose to need God first..In needing God first, He should meet all
our needs, even the need for companionship or friendships..

Why is it so hard to reach out to people; sometimes even for a conversation.
Are we worried that it may take up too much of our time?  Is it hard holding
conversations with people we hardly know,(or don't even know at all)?
Well there is only one way to do it...Offer it up to God, for His glory..ask God
for help to come out of your comfort zone...You will most likely be blessed
by the experience.   Happy visiting!   PTL

People are always searching...they are always asking, "How can I make a
difference in the world?"  We think that to make a difference we have to be
famous or well known.  We think that we have to do something spectacular,
or nothing we do will matter anyway.
Well it's not reaching the "masses" that makes the difference.  It is touching
"one life at a time" in a positive way, that changes the world.
So stop running around in circles thinking that you have to leave a huge
important legacy before you exit this world, and just start by touching one
persons heart with love and compassion.  In this way, each person you impact
positively, may in turn impact someone else with love and that's what makes
the difference in the world.  We have to be the light that shines in darkness
to change ourselves and those around us.

God the Father wants all to know His Son Jesus, and so I ask for all to be
revealed the truth that Jesus is the Son of God; Jesus is our Savior, the One
who died on the cross to save us; to bring us into eternity with Him.  I ask
according to God's will, in Jesus' Name that all will know Him.(special intention
my best friend David)  Amen

God has been pulling me back to Him in so many ways..for the most part, in little things,
I would always remain with Him.  But there are bigger things that God must be asking
me to do, because He is giving me ample time to spend with Him to find out what they
are.
Trials and tribulations, big and small, are a part of daily life; whether you are following
God or not.  In following God, I feel it is easier to establish a purpose for the things
we go through in life.  Truly, in all that happens to me, I can almost see God's reasoning
for it;  in following God I don't have to ask "Why me?" but, "what do You ask of me, Lord,
during this time of trial?  What is it that I'm to learn or accomplish for Your glory?"
I have to know, through this, that everything is working for good; good for those whose
trust is in our Lord.  I pray for the strength to always remain a strong testimony to the
love of our God; that through my trials I can be a faithful servant to Him; to give Him
glory in all things.  No matter what.

God's blessings to all...love and peace in your life, and the strength to always be with
Him.

Lamentations  3:17-18, 21-24

"My soul is deprived of peace, I have forgotten what happiness is.  I tell
myself my future is lost, all that I hoped for from the Lord.
But I will recall this to mind, as my reason to have hope.
The favors of the Lord are not exhausted, His mercies are not spent.
They are renewed each morning, so great is His faithfulness.
My portion is the Lord, says my soul, therefore, will I hope n Him.

We can always find hope in our God..Even when He seems far away;
He is near...you only need to turn back to Him.  You will find peace.

It's important to speak your truth

How many of us actually do?  How many times do we say things we don't mean, and then turn around and NOT say something that is important...something that should be said?
Why do we avoid our truth?  Maybe because we think our truth is only important to us..
Maybe we don't want to offend someone else...  We have to communicate how we feel in a kind compassionate way, or we will not be speaking or living our truth.

Forgiveness, Healing and Love...  How do we forgive?  I believe it is best to start
with confessing our wrongs to God and asking for His forgiveness...Ask Him to
help you repent, change your ways.  Then it is so important to forgive yourself;
you cannot change if you hold on to your guilt.  through the grace of God you
can be healed.  When you hold no more guilt, pain or grudges, you can learn
to love yourself and others.

God Bless America...And I don't mean this in a patriotic sort of way...I am asking
God to have mercy on America...on all of us who live here in this beautiful country
where we have been blessed with so much,  Our hearts should always be filled with
gratitude to our God who has chosen us to be a country who is free from war,
poverty and strife.  A country where we have always been free to worship as we
choose, to speak what is in our heart, and have and raise a family as we see fit.

But is this all coming to an end?  Have we turned our backs on God..Have we
walked away from the laws God has given us?  Do we deserve the mercy of
God...Are we a people who feel as if all the thanks should go to ourselves, as
we feel we are in control of our own destinies?

We need to keep our eyes and focus on God.. God who truly loves us and
only wants for our good.  He knows what we need to live healthy fruitful lives.
If we follow God, all will work for the good of all...if we don't, it won't...Pure and
simple...

I'm sure everyone has seen the mess the world is in...I know the non-believers
have their explanation for all of it...but we as believers...we know, in our hearts
and souls the way of truth..  And so we pray." Lord have mercy"   Jesus is our
Lord and Savior.

Jesus touched my heart today.....

I was at work.  I was doing an event of adult beverages.  I greeted and spoke to many people as they walked by; some stopping for samples, others declining.

A mother pushing a grocery cart walked by, followed by her two small daughters who were walking next to their grandmother that was in a motorized cart.  Both of the small girls had their arms wrapped around the grandma's shoulders.  One little girl asked her grandma what I had for a sample, and the grandma said it was a drink for grownups.  The mother said, "and I need one of those." (as she seemed a bit impatient with her daughters questions)  As they walked past me again the little girl who was still holding on to her grandma, asked her grandma, "do you need one of those grandma?"  The grandmother, with tears in her eyes, looked lovingly at her granddaughter and said, "no, dear.  No I don't need one of those."

A little later another woman in her own motorized cart, drove up.  She was quite young and pretty.  Her daughter was walking very close to her, touching her shoulder.  As the woman stopped and spoke to me, I could tell that she had some form of impairment.(From the way things seemed, whatever it was that was wrong with her appeared to have happened fairly recently.)  She wanted to have a sample of one of the drinks and so I moved some of the barriers out of the way so she could get closer to the table.  She seemed to have a bit of trouble speaking, and as I talked with her a bit more I could see that she did not have full use of her hands. She showed me her ID (with the hand that was more flexible than the other.) and then I reached for the paper that we are required to obtain their signature.  I held the box (that the paper was on), in front of her so she could sign it.  As she took the pen in her hand, I saw that it was very difficult for her to hold the pen.  She asked if her daughter could sign it for her(her daughter was about 10), and I had to politely tell her "no", that was not possible.  So she held the pen very shakily in her hand and began to try to write her name.  She could not press down to write, she could only barely make some scratches on the paper.  She stopped about half way, tears coming to her eyes.  I could see she was having a very hard time trying not to cry.  Then very discretely her little girl gently put her hand on her mothers arm that was shaking, and held it firm, so that her mom could finish writing her name.  The signature was not legible but it was good enough for me.  I was moved by compassion at the little girls awareness of her mother's needs.  What was even more amazing was that the mother told me she home schooled  all three of her daughters; one in high school, one in middle school and then the little one who was with her there.  I told her how wonderful I thought she was.

There are two examples of total love and compassion shown by little children.  Seeing the last woman nearly moved me to tears..It was very difficult to hold them in..(when I got home and began saying my prayers, I could not help but weep for her situation...not for her, as I knew she was being very brave, but for the family situation that must be very difficult for them to be going through. It nearly broke my heart..so I ask prayers of all who read this for her and her family and all others who are having similar difficulties.  God did not waste this beautiful example on me..It went straight to my heart and will be one of those things I will remember always.  God bless them all.

Many times in life, you might be hurt by people you love and care about.  It seems to
be the greatest injury.  It is hard not to harbor that hurt.  It is hard to release it; to forgive.
There is not one of us(as a human being) that has not been hurt, or has not hurt someone
else.  If you stop and consider what the hurt has done to you, it compares nothing to
what hanging on to it will eventually do to your soul.
Try to think why it hurt you so much; try to separate yourself from the event and observe
it.  If it was nothing intentional that they did, then please release it immediately.  Forgive
their humanness and move on.  If it was something someone did intentionally to cause you
distress or harm, try to look at their reason for doing it.  Usually, it is an insecurity that they
have, or maybe they are reenacting a hurt that was inflicted on them.  Remove yourself
from the situation and know that it has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with
them.  It is easier to forgive someone when you understand that in being human, we have
many faults, and we do things, many times, without thinking, or in the interest of ourselves.
If you keep in mind what Jesus said as He was hanging on the cross, "Father forgive them,
for they do not know what they are doing" LUKE 23:34, it will help you to forgive also.
Jesus continually forgives us each day, and He wants us to forgive each other.  When we
forgive and release all hurt, anger, resentment; all negative feelings, then we open our
heart and soul for love to come in.  Where there is love, there can be no malice.  Where
there is love, there can be compassion and understanding. Where there is  forgiveness,
there will be healing.
In my book, "Forgiveness, Healing, and Love" I will take you on a 21 day journey to
learn to forgive, through God's Word.  Then you can live the life God intended for us;
with love, gratitude and abundant blessings.  God Bless You.  PTL

In times of turmoil and "seemingly" stressful things that are put within our space
at different times on our journey, it's important to remember to "stop" and take
a breath and focus on our God who put us here on earth; never promising that
our lives would be easy, but always promising that He would be with us.  During our
trials and tough times, it is of the essence to rest in God's presence.  When you do this
you truly realize the difference between your earthly life and your spiritual existence;
and you know which is most important.  You can then  feel the separation of your
flesh and spirit and know that the flesh is only temporary and the spirit eternal.
When you see things this way, somehow the "stress" of this earthy life loses its
power over you...it seems much less of an impact on you.  For this we can be so
grateful and feel an inner joy...the peace that God gives us, "beyond all understanding."
JOHN 20:19-21  " Jesus came and stood before them. "Peace be with you,"  He said.
When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side.  At the sight of the Lord
His disciples rejoiced.  "Peace be with you", He said again.  "As the Father has sent Me
so I send you."   And so I say..God's peace be with you always.  God bless you.  PTL

If I was going to talk to you about my book "Spirit Moves", I would tell you that it was written in  a spirit of "awe" of our Creator.  The way I felt as I wrote, speaks through Psalm 138: 6  "The Lord is exalted, yet the lowly He sees".  I did not and still do not feel worthy of speaking to others about God.  Who am I , other than another sinful human struggling through life.  Yet, I know this is exactly what God wants me to do...share my struggles and trials, to let others know that it's ok to be in that space.  We will always have struggles in this life, that's a given; but it is the way we go through them that changes the whole picture.  We can choose to be grateful in everything that comes to us, and in essence have a positive attitude.  In this way we will still be spreading the "light" of God throughout humanity..we will not be "darkness" but we will be the light that shines through the darkness for all to see.  We can spread peace, love and joy through a positive attitude.
In my book I share with you examples of the way others faced their trials with optimism, and in doing so made a difference in the lives of all they came in contact with; and in one particular case, I was the one that marveled in their blessings; and I was blessed by them.  Now wouldn't you like
to be the one blessing others, even in your trials.  God will doubly bless you through it all.
We only get one go around in this beautiful life, and I choose to live each day in the spirit of gratitude, marveling in the love and blessings God is always bestowing on me.  And this will keep me positive, because I have yet to be negative when I am giving thanks.

Peace, Love and Blessings.  Marie Therese  "Spirit Moves"

If you are not a follower of Jesus; if you are not a believer in God, you may not get this.
Even the people of God have hardened their hearts, so much so that they now
believe that good is evil and evil is good(which in essence is the same).  They have said
that since we elected the people who are in office, the decisions they make rest
on us also.  But people change, and people are easily swayed.  So what can we do now
about the decisions they are making that we don't agree with?
We can pray, and we need to.  Because we are a people who are turning away from
God.  Can we really say that we believe that the new laws that are being put in place
are according to God's Will?  God has spoken His word in the bible and to many of His followers,
and His word does not change.  Do the people pretend to know better than God; to
change the laws He has given us?  The laws God has lovingly given to His people
are there to protect us from our most imperfect human condition.. A condition if left to
itself will only destroy itself, as you can see is slowly happening.  God is lovingly asking us
daily to turn back to Him.  Yet we are moving farther away.  Nothing good will come
from anything unless we repent of the evils we are partaking of.  Time is closing in
on our chance to do the right thing.  We must first start with ourselves and move outward
to those who do not recognize the warnings.  Everyone must have the chance to turn
their hearts back to God.  Please add your prayers to mine in asking God to have mercy
on us and our country.  In Jesus' Name(God's most Holy Son), I ask.  Amen

Each day I come across people who convey to me their concern of how they are sensing
more and more evil in the world.  We all do need to be aware that, it is true, there is a
"spiritual war" happening within realms that we cannot see; yet the results manifest themselves
within humanity, as we are the outlet to achieve the direct results...Good verses evil.  When
we do good, we tip the scale towards good; when we don't do what is good and right, it tips
towards bad.  You can sense this, because you are surrounded by either a predominant light
or darkness.  As you are filled with the light of good, you light all those around you and
hopefully they choose to continue to spread  the light.  When you come across any form
of darkness, you can spot it within your light.  The key is to rid yourself of the darkness
if it will not convert to light.  In this way all the darkness can be pushed away from the light.
Maybe someday the light can completely overcome the darkness.

PSALM 9: 1-17
"I will give thanks to you, Oh Lord, with all my heart; I will declare Your wondrous deeds.
I will be glad and exalt in You; I will sing praise to Your name Most High, because my
enemies are turned back, overthrown and destroyed before You.  For You upheld my right
and my cause, seated on Your throne judging justly.  You rebuked the nations and destroyed
the wicked; their name you blotted out forever and ever.  The enemies are ruined
completely forever; the remembrance of the cities you uprooted has perished.  But the Lord
sits enthroned forever; He has set up His throne for judgment.  He judges the world with
justice; He governs the people with equity.  The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of distress.  They trust in You who cherish Your name, for You forsake no those who seek you Lord.  Sing praise to the Lord enthroned in Zion; proclaim
among the nations His deeds.  For the avenger of blood has remembered; He has not
forgotten the cry of the afflicted. Have pity on me, oh Lord, see how I am afflicted by my
foes; You who have raised me up from the gates of death, that I may declare all Your
praises, and in the gates of the daughter of Zion, rejoice in Your salvation. The nations are
sunk in the pit they have made, in the snare they set, their foot is caught; in passing
sentence, the Lord is manifest, the wicked are trapped by the work of their own hands."

Many times in our lives things happen which cause us to pause; maybe in reflection,
in wonderment, or perhaps in anger.  We all have crossroads that are meant for our
change; a change of attitude, change of heart, and most importantly a change in our
way of life.  Many of our circumstances are self-inflicted, but many others may be due
to a general purpose.  It is our reaction to the occurrence which determines whether
we move forward in knowledge.  If you do not see or understand the purpose, you may
stagnate to repeat it, or worse, backslide.
You have to realize, first, that we are all here on this earth for a reason.  Through prayer
and meditation you can come to know that  God our Creator has a purpose for all creation.
It is a purpose filled will love, peace, hopes and dreams for all of us.  If you are on
the path of this realization, you will know that everything you do (and everything you
don't do), matters.  It matters a great deal.  Our purpose is attached to the purpose
of all the lives we come in contact with; to different extents.  When we understand this
we can take care to spread peace and harmony instead of strife.  See the purpose through
the heart of God and the eyes of your neighbor; in this way, you will make advancements
towards God, towards peace and love in your life and those around you.
When you come to a crossroad in your life, choose to look to God for the purpose and
rely on Him to guide you through it.  After all, He created us to be with Him and wants
us to always turn to Him for His guidance.  When you do this, you will see a definite
purpose for the things that happen to you, and around you, during your life, and hopefully
take the road of advancement; (or guaranteed, you will be doing it again.)  All it takes
is spiritual guidance from God, and your thought process of being aware of your
attitude and heart, to make positive life changes.
We are here for a reason, and it all matters...

THE CHRISTIAN HOLOCAUST: JONATHAN CAHN'S SPEECH TO THE U.N.-FULL VERSION

I feel the love that comes from my soul
reaching out to you
You touch my heart in ways I can't explain
In ways I do not know.
I only know you do.
I'm in this place where all I feel is love
tenderness and peace;
yet only in this moment.
I must cherish this moment,
this feeling, for it may vanish
as quickly as it came.
Circumstances and actions can change feelings
in a moment, yet if we draw back within the peace
the love will remain.
One God, one Love, true peace.

Can you make a difference in the world?  Many people don't believe they can, and so they don't even try.  They may think that the prospect is too overwhelming; and it may be, if you think of the "world" as a whole.  But when you take it as "one person at a time", "one event " at a time, it makes more sense; it seems more doable.  And, it actually works.  Give a hug, say a kind word, tell someone you care, and you will see a difference within your sphere.  When someone is loving and kind, it is contagious; it spreads from person to person.  All it takes is the desire to spread love as opposed to being indifferent.   Pray for peace, within our hearts, within our lives and within our world.

I really never watch the news....I don't pay attention to all the sensationalism going on within the news....I mean, seriously, the news, which is suppose to be "just that"(news) has become a media spectacular.(with as much gore, emotion, attention grabbing stuff that they can find).   The bigger the ratings, the more they pay, the more they are "recognized"...so how can you blame the journalists for mixing "entertainment" with the actual things we might want to know.  But recently, something(news) was put to my attention by a colleague, so I read about it, (watched it...YouTube is my one internet weaknesses), and I could not help but look, fascinatingly at what our journalists appear to be all consumed with at this point in time... Could it all just be a ruse, preparing people for the battle of the up and coming Presidential election...perhaps to make it seem as if our country is on the brink of disaster, so that they can point fingers at each other, with blame, and say "MY opponent is here to fix it all for you!"  OR, could any of what I've been looking at and reading possibly be true? Wow...(in my language...totally, WOW)...If you haven't checked out the internet news lately..  ;-))), please do so if you like a sort of "negative-terror" kind of entertainment...and then, in your own mind, choose what you'd like...heavens knows there is plenty to choose from!  After spending minimal time being drawn into the terror, the anger, the gossip, and all the rest, I decided to rely on God...God is the only One who can see ALL..I cannot imagine what He must think of how we are trying to destroy ourselves and each other; pretty much in everything we do.  All He wants us to do is love each other the way He loves us...so very much..through it all.  But He must be sad at the world situation ..And then I came upon a chapter in the Book of Wisdom and that is really when fear gripped my heart...Because the words truly spoke to me about what is going on in the world...idols are everything we deem important enough to spend time and money on..idols are things that take our attention off of God...they take us away from God; they make us crazy and cause us to do crazy things.  That is why God wants us to make Him our only truth, because He knows all else will destroy us if not taken in the "right doses"..When we make God most important in our lives, put Him first, then and only then, will things be as they should be. (peace can exist)
And so as I read through the book of Wisdom, I can see so clearly that what is going on in the world today, is due to our "false idols"...so I suppose much of what they are speaking about, might actually be true.

WISDOM 14:12-14, 27,

"For the source of wantonness is the devising of idols
and their invention was a corruption of life.
For in the beginning they were not; nor shall they continue forever.
for by the vanity of men they came into the world,
and therefore a sudden end is devised for them."
"For the worship of infamous idols
is the reason and source and extremity of all evil."

WISDOM 11:15-16
"And in return for their senseless, wicked thoughts,
which mislead them into worshiping dumb serpents and worthless insects
You sent upon them swarms of dumb creatures for vengeance;
that they might recognize that a man is punished by the very things
through which he sins."

WISDOM 12: 23-27
"Hence those unjust also, who lived a life of folly,
you tormented through their own abominations,
for they went far astray in the paths of error,
taking for gods the worthless and disgusting beasts,
deceived like senseless infants.
Therefore, as though upon unreasoning children,
you sent your judgement on them as a mockery;
But they took no heed of punishment which is but child's play
were to experience a condemnation worthy of God.
For in the things through which they suffered distress,
since they were tortured by the very things they deemed gods,
They saw and recognized the true God
whom they had refused to know;
with this their final condemnation came upon them."

Please join me in praying for the restoration of our country; of the world.
For peace, love, and the honor of God in our lives to prevail.
In Jesus' name.  Amen.

When you give your free will over to God and sincerely try to follow Jesus
on the path of truth, your life will definitely change.  Some of the changes may seem confusing,
as you may not have thought something in your life was "wrong"  But only God knows the whole picture;
what it will take to complete His purpose for your life.  Only in allowing things to unfold, with patience
and endurance will you see God's plan for your life.  Pray for God's strength as you walk
His path each day.  One day at a time.

Tuesday, January 6, 2015

Anyone who wishes to draw near to God must spend time alone with Him.  We cannot find our inner Spirit within commotion and strife or surrounded by people and things.  Only when we have spent time with God can we know His true love for us and in that way show God's love to others.  Love only of ourselves is shallow and temporary; it is only God's love through us that is permanent.

Sunday, January 4, 2015

Lord, Your ways are far above our ways.
You know each breath I take.  Each strand of hair on my head You know.
You know all, Lord; each star in the sky, each grain of sand
is known to You.  You are mighty to save, Your love is all encompassing.
Though my days are numbered, I shall praise You in each moment.
In all joys and sorrows, You are with me.  You are the Light in the darkness;
Lord Jesus, You are the Way the Truth and the Life.
Keep me always in Your presence.

Friday, January 2, 2015

Alone I find an inner peace, one that can't be known, unless alone.  Time spent within this peace feeds the soul; a food one cannot find in any other place.  This food is necessary for life, the life of the soul.

Free will, or God's will?  If God will never take our free will from us, can we still say that events are God's will?  Or does God's will come into effect when we turn our will over to God?
Inherently we are path followers.  We choose a path to take always searching for the end.  Over each hill; around every bend; through the valleys of our lives.  As we come to our crossroads, there is always the challenge of which way to go.  Do I stay on the main path or head down the new one?  The choice is up to you.  Are you up for adventure; to head out of your comfort zone?  When choosing your path, know that in essence, your choice affects not only you, but others around you.  We are all intertwined.  Each person you accept into your life, becomes part of your path.  Each choice you make ultimately spirals into all others in your life.  We are to strive for the "good of all", for oneness.  So, bless as many people as you can as you make your choices, as you walk your paths.  Peace on earth, peace to all.
