Can you make a difference in the world?  Many people don't believe they can, and so they don't even try.  They may think that the prospect is too overwhelming; and it may be, if you think of the "world" as a whole.  But when you take it as "one person at a time", "one event " at a time, it makes more sense; it seems more doable.  And, it actually works.  Give a hug, say a kind word, tell someone you care, and you will see a difference within your sphere.  When someone is loving and kind, it is contagious; it spreads from person to person.  All it takes is the desire to spread love as opposed to being indifferent.   Pray for peace, within our hearts, within our lives and within our world.
