Each day I come across people who convey to me their concern of how they are sensing
more and more evil in the world.  We all do need to be aware that, it is true, there is a
"spiritual war" happening within realms that we cannot see; yet the results manifest themselves
within humanity, as we are the outlet to achieve the direct results...Good verses evil.  When
we do good, we tip the scale towards good; when we don't do what is good and right, it tips
towards bad.  You can sense this, because you are surrounded by either a predominant light
or darkness.  As you are filled with the light of good, you light all those around you and
hopefully they choose to continue to spread  the light.  When you come across any form
of darkness, you can spot it within your light.  The key is to rid yourself of the darkness
if it will not convert to light.  In this way all the darkness can be pushed away from the light.
Maybe someday the light can completely overcome the darkness.

PSALM 9: 1-17
"I will give thanks to you, Oh Lord, with all my heart; I will declare Your wondrous deeds.
I will be glad and exalt in You; I will sing praise to Your name Most High, because my
enemies are turned back, overthrown and destroyed before You.  For You upheld my right
and my cause, seated on Your throne judging justly.  You rebuked the nations and destroyed
the wicked; their name you blotted out forever and ever.  The enemies are ruined
completely forever; the remembrance of the cities you uprooted has perished.  But the Lord
sits enthroned forever; He has set up His throne for judgment.  He judges the world with
justice; He governs the people with equity.  The Lord is a stronghold for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of distress.  They trust in You who cherish Your name, for You forsake no those who seek you Lord.  Sing praise to the Lord enthroned in Zion; proclaim
among the nations His deeds.  For the avenger of blood has remembered; He has not
forgotten the cry of the afflicted. Have pity on me, oh Lord, see how I am afflicted by my
foes; You who have raised me up from the gates of death, that I may declare all Your
praises, and in the gates of the daughter of Zion, rejoice in Your salvation. The nations are
sunk in the pit they have made, in the snare they set, their foot is caught; in passing
sentence, the Lord is manifest, the wicked are trapped by the work of their own hands."

Many times in our lives things happen which cause us to pause; maybe in reflection,
in wonderment, or perhaps in anger.  We all have crossroads that are meant for our
change; a change of attitude, change of heart, and most importantly a change in our
way of life.  Many of our circumstances are self-inflicted, but many others may be due
to a general purpose.  It is our reaction to the occurrence which determines whether
we move forward in knowledge.  If you do not see or understand the purpose, you may
stagnate to repeat it, or worse, backslide.
You have to realize, first, that we are all here on this earth for a reason.  Through prayer
and meditation you can come to know that  God our Creator has a purpose for all creation.
It is a purpose filled will love, peace, hopes and dreams for all of us.  If you are on
the path of this realization, you will know that everything you do (and everything you
don't do), matters.  It matters a great deal.  Our purpose is attached to the purpose
of all the lives we come in contact with; to different extents.  When we understand this
we can take care to spread peace and harmony instead of strife.  See the purpose through
the heart of God and the eyes of your neighbor; in this way, you will make advancements
towards God, towards peace and love in your life and those around you.
When you come to a crossroad in your life, choose to look to God for the purpose and
rely on Him to guide you through it.  After all, He created us to be with Him and wants
us to always turn to Him for His guidance.  When you do this, you will see a definite
purpose for the things that happen to you, and around you, during your life, and hopefully
take the road of advancement; (or guaranteed, you will be doing it again.)  All it takes
is spiritual guidance from God, and your thought process of being aware of your
attitude and heart, to make positive life changes.
We are here for a reason, and it all matters...
