Jesus touched my heart today.....
I was at work. I was doing an event of adult beverages. I greeted and spoke to many people as they walked by; some stopping for samples, others declining.
A mother pushing a grocery cart walked by, followed by her two small daughters who were walking next to their grandmother that was in a motorized cart. Both of the small girls had their arms wrapped around the grandma's shoulders. One little girl asked her grandma what I had for a sample, and the grandma said it was a drink for grownups. The mother said, "and I need one of those." (as she seemed a bit impatient with her daughters questions) As they walked past me again the little girl who was still holding on to her grandma, asked her grandma, "do you need one of those grandma?" The grandmother, with tears in her eyes, looked lovingly at her granddaughter and said, "no, dear. No I don't need one of those."
A little later another woman in her own motorized cart, drove up. She was quite young and pretty. Her daughter was walking very close to her, touching her shoulder. As the woman stopped and spoke to me, I could tell that she had some form of impairment.(From the way things seemed, whatever it was that was wrong with her appeared to have happened fairly recently.) She wanted to have a sample of one of the drinks and so I moved some of the barriers out of the way so she could get closer to the table. She seemed to have a bit of trouble speaking, and as I talked with her a bit more I could see that she did not have full use of her hands. She showed me her ID (with the hand that was more flexible than the other.) and then I reached for the paper that we are required to obtain their signature. I held the box (that the paper was on), in front of her so she could sign it. As she took the pen in her hand, I saw that it was very difficult for her to hold the pen. She asked if her daughter could sign it for her(her daughter was about 10), and I had to politely tell her "no", that was not possible. So she held the pen very shakily in her hand and began to try to write her name. She could not press down to write, she could only barely make some scratches on the paper. She stopped about half way, tears coming to her eyes. I could see she was having a very hard time trying not to cry. Then very discretely her little girl gently put her hand on her mothers arm that was shaking, and held it firm, so that her mom could finish writing her name. The signature was not legible but it was good enough for me. I was moved by compassion at the little girls awareness of her mother's needs. What was even more amazing was that the mother told me she home schooled all three of her daughters; one in high school, one in middle school and then the little one who was with her there. I told her how wonderful I thought she was.
There are two examples of total love and compassion shown by little children. Seeing the last woman nearly moved me to tears..It was very difficult to hold them in..(when I got home and began saying my prayers, I could not help but weep for her situation...not for her, as I knew she was being very brave, but for the family situation that must be very difficult for them to be going through. It nearly broke my heart..so I ask prayers of all who read this for her and her family and all others who are having similar difficulties. God did not waste this beautiful example on me..It went straight to my heart and will be one of those things I will remember always. God bless them all.

Many times in life, you might be hurt by people you love and care about. It seems to
be the greatest injury. It is hard not to harbor that hurt. It is hard to release it; to forgive.
There is not one of us(as a human being) that has not been hurt, or has not hurt someone
else. If you stop and consider what the hurt has done to you, it compares nothing to
what hanging on to it will eventually do to your soul.
Try to think why it hurt you so much; try to separate yourself from the event and observe
it. If it was nothing intentional that they did, then please release it immediately. Forgive
their humanness and move on. If it was something someone did intentionally to cause you
distress or harm, try to look at their reason for doing it. Usually, it is an insecurity that they
have, or maybe they are reenacting a hurt that was inflicted on them. Remove yourself
from the situation and know that it has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with
them. It is easier to forgive someone when you understand that in being human, we have
many faults, and we do things, many times, without thinking, or in the interest of ourselves.
If you keep in mind what Jesus said as He was hanging on the cross, "Father forgive them,
for they do not know what they are doing" LUKE 23:34, it will help you to forgive also.
Jesus continually forgives us each day, and He wants us to forgive each other. When we
forgive and release all hurt, anger, resentment; all negative feelings, then we open our
heart and soul for love to come in. Where there is love, there can be no malice. Where
there is love, there can be compassion and understanding. Where there is forgiveness,
there will be healing.
In my book, "Forgiveness, Healing, and Love" I will take you on a 21 day journey to
learn to forgive, through God's Word. Then you can live the life God intended for us;
with love, gratitude and abundant blessings. God Bless You. PTL

In times of turmoil and "seemingly" stressful things that are put within our space
at different times on our journey, it's important to remember to "stop" and take
a breath and focus on our God who put us here on earth; never promising that
our lives would be easy, but always promising that He would be with us. During our
trials and tough times, it is of the essence to rest in God's presence. When you do this
you truly realize the difference between your earthly life and your spiritual existence;
and you know which is most important. You can then feel the separation of your
flesh and spirit and know that the flesh is only temporary and the spirit eternal.
When you see things this way, somehow the "stress" of this earthy life loses its
power over you...it seems much less of an impact on you. For this we can be so
grateful and feel an inner joy...the peace that God gives us, "beyond all understanding."
JOHN 20:19-21 " Jesus came and stood before them. "Peace be with you," He said.
When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His side. At the sight of the Lord
His disciples rejoiced. "Peace be with you", He said again. "As the Father has sent Me
so I send you." And so I say..God's peace be with you always. God bless you. PTL

If I was going to talk to you about my book "Spirit Moves", I would tell you that it was written in a spirit of "awe" of our Creator. The way I felt as I wrote, speaks through Psalm 138: 6 "The Lord is exalted, yet the lowly He sees". I did not and still do not feel worthy of speaking to others about God. Who am I , other than another sinful human struggling through life. Yet, I know this is exactly what God wants me to do...share my struggles and trials, to let others know that it's ok to be in that space. We will always have struggles in this life, that's a given; but it is the way we go through them that changes the whole picture. We can choose to be grateful in everything that comes to us, and in essence have a positive attitude. In this way we will still be spreading the "light" of God throughout humanity..we will not be "darkness" but we will be the light that shines through the darkness for all to see. We can spread peace, love and joy through a positive attitude.
In my book I share with you examples of the way others faced their trials with optimism, and in doing so made a difference in the lives of all they came in contact with; and in one particular case, I was the one that marveled in their blessings; and I was blessed by them. Now wouldn't you like
to be the one blessing others, even in your trials. God will doubly bless you through it all.
We only get one go around in this beautiful life, and I choose to live each day in the spirit of gratitude, marveling in the love and blessings God is always bestowing on me. And this will keep me positive, because I have yet to be negative when I am giving thanks.

If you are not a follower of Jesus; if you are not a believer in God, you may not get this.
Even the people of God have hardened their hearts, so much so that they now
believe that good is evil and evil is good(which in essence is the same). They have said
that since we elected the people who are in office, the decisions they make rest
on us also. But people change, and people are easily swayed. So what can we do now
about the decisions they are making that we don't agree with?
We can pray, and we need to. Because we are a people who are turning away from
God. Can we really say that we believe that the new laws that are being put in place
are according to God's Will? God has spoken His word in the bible and to many of His followers,
and His word does not change. Do the people pretend to know better than God; to
change the laws He has given us? The laws God has lovingly given to His people
are there to protect us from our most imperfect human condition.. A condition if left to
itself will only destroy itself, as you can see is slowly happening. God is lovingly asking us
daily to turn back to Him. Yet we are moving farther away. Nothing good will come
from anything unless we repent of the evils we are partaking of. Time is closing in
on our chance to do the right thing. We must first start with ourselves and move outward
to those who do not recognize the warnings. Everyone must have the chance to turn
their hearts back to God. Please add your prayers to mine in asking God to have mercy
on us and our country. In Jesus' Name(God's most Holy Son), I ask. Amen
